💰 Art Commission Pricing
What to charge for commissions based on time and materials
About this calculator
The Art Commission Pricing calculator turns your costs and time into a fair quote. Enter hours, hourly rate, materials, framing, shipping, and any licensing fees for commercial use. It adds them into a total with an optional markup, showing exactly what each piece must sell for to pay you properly.
Tip: always quote commercial licenses as a separate line item — a company using your art in ads should pay more than a private buyer hanging it at home, and separating the fee makes that clear.
