๐ Standard Error
Standard error of the sample mean
About this calculator
The standard error of the mean measures how much your sample average would bounce around if you repeated the study. It equals the standard deviation divided by the square root of n, so bigger samples give steadier estimates.
Tip: the standard error is the building block of confidence intervals. Multiply it by about 2 for a rough 95 percent interval.
