Pizza pricing rewards size, and this calculator proves it. Enter the diameter and price of two or more pizzas and it compares them by area โ square inches or centimetres per dollar โ so you can see exactly which pie gives you the most food for your money.
Area equals ฯ ร radiusยฒ, so a 16-inch pizza is not twice an 8-inch โ it is four times the pizza. Price per square inch is the great equalizer: it exposes the small "personal" pizza as the worst value on the menu almost every time.
Tip: Two medium pizzas almost always lose to one large with the same total diameter โ do the area math before assuming more boxes means more food.
